Peter A. Goldstein, MD, is a professor of anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and a practicing anesthesiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. His expertise spans neuroanesthesiology, pain medicine, and the basic science of neuronal excitability. Dr. Goldstein’s research investigates ion channel function and how anesthetics modulate neuronal communication. He has received numerous grants and published widely in neuroscience and anesthesiology journals.
