Cause:Probably viral

Si:Ovoid lesions w central clearing and scale on insideof ring ("trailing scale"), in lines of cleavage; vest distribution; white raised papular lesions in blacks; r/o tinea corporis and other pap-squam etiologies, especially syphilis

Recurs occasionally

Lab: Serol:VDRL or RPR to r/o syphilis
