Adult Dosing

Non-hyperkeratotic, non-pigmented actinic keratoses

• After lesion preparation apply up to 1 gram (half tube) cream on lesions during photodynamic therapy; apply occlusive dressing x3 hrs; remove excess cream with saline; position Aktilite CL128 lamp to illuminate with red light

• Indicated for treatment of thin and moderately thick, non-hyperkeratotic, non-pigmented actinic keratoses of the face and scalp in immunocompetent patients, in combination with the Aktilite CL128 lamp, a narrowband, red light illumination source

• Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product
• Cutaneous photosensitivity
• Known allergies to porphyrins
• Known sensitivities to peanut and almond oil

• Wear protective eyewear before operating the Aktilite lamp. Patients should be cautioned with regard to protective clothing after exposure to therapy
• Avoid contact to the eyes or to mucous membranes. Therapy has demonstrated a high rate of contact sensitization
• Avoid prolonged exposure (>4 hrs) to drug
• Redness, swelling, burning, stinging persisting for greater than 3 weeks posttherapy: Patient should contact physician
