Answer

Answer: A."Pulmonary edema is 3rd spacing of fluid into the alveolar sacs inside the lungs. This fluid is evident during assessment as crackles. The sound of crackles is the fluid being displaced during the movement of air in and out of the lung. Stridor is the sound of air trying to move through narrowed airways. A pulmonary friction rub is when the two sacs that surround the lungs rub against each other. Clients will often have diminished breath sounds especially in their lower lobes. By encouraging the client to take deep breaths, it will encourage air to move in the bases."
