Breastfeeding: Safety unknown; As it has short half-life it is unlikely to reach the bloodstream or cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants. To decrease amount of drug reaching breastmilk after using eye drops, place pressure over the tear duct by the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more followed by removing the excess solution with an absorbent tissue. It is not known whether excreted in human milk, manufacturer advises caution.
