Cause:Vitamin C deficiency, seen in elderly on poor diets

Signs and Symptoms ⬆ ⬇

Si:Purpura never palpable, corkscrew hairs, perifollicular hemorrhage especially on knees; hyperkeratotic papules

Treatment ⬆

Rx:Vitamin C

Other causes: Leukemias, TTP, thrombocytosis, myelofibrosis
