• Antacids may increase/decrease the rate or degree of absorption of concomitantly administered oral drugs by changing GI transit time or by binding the drug
• Do not use more than the maximum recommended dose and for more than 2 weeks. If symptoms persist for more than 2 wks, discontinue therapy and further evaluate the patient
