• GI: Oral irritation, dyspepsia, nausea, dry mouth/throat
• DERM: Rash, pruritis, urticaria
• MISC: Hypersensitivity reactions, allergic reactions, anaphylaxis, angioedema, laryngospasm

• Anticholinergic agent; it antagonizes the action of acetylcholine. Inhibits nasal serous/seromucous gland secretions
• Readily absorbed into systemic circulation either from the surface of the lung or from the gastrointestinal tract
• Partially metabolized by liver
• Excreted in urine, 3.7-11.1% unchanged
• Half-life: 1.6 hrs
