• Primary (eg, impetigo contagiosa) and secondary (eg, infectious eczematoid dermatitis) skin infections
• Skin cysts/abscesses/ulcers and superficial skin infections
• Infected superficial burns, paronychia, infected insect bites and stings, infected lacerations and abrasions, and wounds from minor surgery
• Infection prophylaxis and aid to healing

• Hypersensitivity to gentamicin or other aminoglycosides, or any of the excipients

Hepatic Dose Adjustment

• Hepatic impairment: None required

• Cumulative toxicity, causing serious adverse reactions including nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity, may occur when used on large skin lesions or large areas of denuded skin, in combination with systemic aminoglycoside therapy
• Prolonged use may result in bacterial or fungal overgrowth of nonsusceptible microorganisms; if superinfection occurs, discontinue and institute appropriate therapy
