Frank R. Greer, MD, FAAP , is an Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics and Nutritional Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A former chair of the AAP Committee on Nutrition, his research focuses on the nutritional needs of breastfeeding infants and the role of minerals like calcium and vitamin D in bone health. He has published extensively on iron requirements and the introduction of complementary foods.
