Discharge Checklist after Myocardial Infarction
- Aspirin 75 mg daily lifelong
- Clopidogrel 75 mg daily for 12 months (or prasugrel/ticagrelor)
- Beta blocker unless contraindicated
- ACE-inhibitor if there has been clinical heart failure or LVEF is <40%
- High-dose statin (e.g. atorvastatin 80 mg daily)
- Advice on smoking cessation, diet, lifestyle and work
- Exercise rehabilitation arranged
- Echocardiography done
- Testing for inducible myocardial ischaemia done, or arranged if not fully revascularized
