Breastfeeding: No information is available regarding its use during breastfeeding. Ceftaroline belongs to cephalosporin class of antibiotics, which are not expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants. Disruption of the infant's GI flora, resulting in diarrhea or thrush have been reported with cephalosporins, but these effects have not been evaluated.
