• Rare occasions of mental confusion, euphoria, agitation and disturbed behavior may occur in susceptible patients
• Overdosage may frequently result in central anticholinergic syndrome, and may occasionally occur with properly prescribed anticholinergic medication. Concomitant administration of an anticholinergic agent and a drug that has secondary anticholinergic actions may also lead to such syndrome

Cautions: Use cautiously in:

• Manifest glaucoma
• Prostatism
• Epilepsy
• Cardiac arrhythmia

• Advise patients to avoid engaging in activities requiring mental alertness such as driving a car or operating any other potentially dangerous machinery
• Advise patients to avoid consumption of alcohol during therapy
