- Rare occasions of mental confusion, euphoria, agitation and disturbed behavior may occur in susceptible patients
- Overdosage may frequently result in central anticholinergic syndrome, and may occasionally occur with properly prescribed anticholinergic medication. Concomitant administration of an anticholinergic agent and a drug that has secondary anticholinergic actions may also lead to such syndrome
Cautions: Use cautiously in:
- Manifest glaucoma
- Prostatism
- Epilepsy
- Cardiac arrhythmia
Supplemental Patient Information
- Advise patients to avoid engaging in activities requiring mental alertness such as driving a car or operating any other potentially dangerous machinery
- Advise patients to avoid consumption of alcohol during therapy
Pregnancy Category:C
Breastfeeding: Unknown whether the drug is excreted in human milk. Manufacturer advises caution when administering to a nursing woman.
