As an adjunct to Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Initial Dose: 30 mcg/kg IV bolus, followed immediately by a 4 mcg/kg/min IV infusion
- Initiate the bolus infusion prior to PCI. Continue the maintenance infusion for at least 2 hrs or for the duration of PCI, whichever is longer
- Reconstitute 50 mg lyophilized powder in a single-use 10 mL vial with 5 mL sterile water for injection. Before administration, each reconstituted vial must be diluted further with normal saline or 5% Dextrose Injection.
- To maintain platelet inhibition after discontinuation of cangrelor infusion, an oral P2Y12 platelet inhibitor should be used
