Adult Dosing

Psoriasis

• Apply 0.25% to the dry affected areas of the skin once daily preferably at night; increase gradually to 0.5%

• Note:

• Wash off after prescribed time. Drug may stain skin and clothing
• Avoid application to the surrounding normal skin

Pediatric Dosing

• Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established

• Treatment should be continued until the skin is entirely clear, i.e. till the texture becomes normal; optimal period of contact will vary according to the strength used and the patient's response to treatment
• Discontinue use if a sensitivity reaction occurs or if excessive irritation develops
• Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth. Do not apply to folds or creases of the skin
• Anthralin may irritate or cause slight burning sensation and may stain skin or clothes; wear plastic gloves while applying on affected area
