Pronto Plus Lice Killing Mousse Shampoo, Pronto Plus Lice Killing Shampoo, Rid Mousse

• Apply to thoroughly wet the dry hair or other affected area; allow product to remain for exactly 10 minutes. Use a small amount of warm water to form lather, shampoo, then rinse thoroughly. Towel dry hair and comb out dead lice or their eggs
• Repeat in 7-10 days to kill any newly hatched lice

• Therapy is for external use only
• Do not apply near eyes, inside of the nose, mouth, or vagina
• Do not apply to the eyelashes or eyebrows; consult a physician if they become infected with lice
• Keep the medication away form the mouth and do not inhale it; this medicine is harmful if swallowed or inhaled
• Therapy may cause scalp itching or redness
• All members of the patient's household should be examined for lice and receive treatment if they are found to be infected
• For pubic (crab) lice infections, consider treating the patient's sexual partner as the infection may spread to persons in close contact
• Keep eyes tightly closed and protect eyes with a towel or washcloth; if product gets in eyes, flush with water immediately

Supplemental Patient Information

• Instruct patients on proper application technique
• Advise patients to wash all clothing, bedding, and personal items in hot water after treatment to prevent re-infestation
• Inform patients to discontinue use and promptly consult a physician if eye irritation or breathing difficulty occurs and if skin or scalp irritation continues
