Hepatic Dose Adjustment

• It may cause mild irritation, stinging of the skin, use sparingly. Discontinue treatment if excessive irritation occurs
• Do not use on moles, birthmarks, unusual warts with hair growth, on facial warts, or in the anal or perineal region
• Salicylic acid is for external use only. Do not permit contact with eyes or mucous membranes, if accidentally comes in contact flush with water for 15 minutes
• High concentration of salicylic acid causes skin erosion
• Drug is flammable and should be kept away from fire or flame
• Do not apply the drug to skin that is broken, red, swollen, irritated, or infected
• Children and teenagers who have chicken pox/flu should not use topical salicylic acid unless advised by a doctor as they may develop Reye's syndrome

Breastfeeding: safety unknown; minimal systemic absorption following topical administration. Avoid use for long periods of time and especially when treating large areas of skin
