Breastfeeding: Absorption from the eye is limited and would not cause any adverse effects to breastfed infants. To diminish the amount of drug that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the tear duct by the corner of the eye for 1 min or more and remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
