Pregnancy Category:C

Breastfeeding: Lower occasional doses of are probably acceptable during breastfeeding. Higher doses or more long term use is associated with drowsiness and other effects in the infant and decreases the milk supply, particularly in combination with a sympathomimetic or before lactation is well established. According to manufacturer’s data higher risk exists in infants, newborns and premature in particular and use of carbinoxamine maleate is contraindicated in nursing mothers.
