Breastfeeding: According to the CDC and other health organizations, M-M-R live vaccine given to a nursing mother does not affect the safety of breastfeeding for mothers or breastfed infants. Breastfeeding is not a contraindication to measles, mumps and rubella virus vaccine. Breastfed infants should be vaccinated according to the routine recommended schedules.
