Adult Dosing

External genital warts, perianal warts

• Apply twice daily (q12 hrs) for 3 days, then withhold for 4 consecutive days; may repeat this one week cycle until there are no visible warts or for a maximum of 4 cycles
• The total wart area being treated should not exceed 10 cm² and no more than 0.5 g of the 'gel' or 0.5 mL of the 'solution' should be applied daily

• If there is incomplete treatment response after 4 treatment cycles, discontinue treatment and consider alternative therapy
• For the treatment of perianal warts, use the gel form only

• As the drug product is flammable, keep it away from open flame
• The gel and the solution are for cutaneous use only
• The recommended method of application, frequency of application, and duration of usage should not exceed the recommended guidelines

Breastfeeding: Safety unknown. According to the manufacturer's data, because of the potential for serious adverse reactions in breastfed infants, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug analyzing the importance of the drug to the mother.
