• Promptly consult a physician if sore throat gets worse, continues for more than 2 days or is accompanied by fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting; patients should contact their physician or dentist if sore throat does not improve within 7 days of treatment
• Advise patients to get appropriate medical help in case an excessive amount of gel is accidentally swallowed
