Adult Dosing

Chronic moderately severe psoriasis of the scalp

• Apply 0.005% solution to the psoriatric lesions bid. Max: 8 wks
• Note: Avoid contact with the forehead

Plaque psoriasis

• Apply 0.005% cream/ointment/foam to the affected areas bid. Max: 8 wks

Pediatric Dosing

• Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established

• Plaque psoriasis (cream, foam and ointment)
• Chronic, moderately severe psoriasis of the scalp (solution)

• Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product
• Hypercalcemia
• Vitamin D toxicity
• Acute psoriatic eruptions (solution only)

Hepatic Dose Adjustment

• Avoid contact with surrounding normal skin. Avoid sunlight exposure
• Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes; discontinue use if a sensitivity reaction occurs
• Reversible elevation of serum calcium has occurred with topical calcipotreine
