Adult Dosing
Chemotherapy-Induced Nausea and Vomiting
- Apply 1 patch to the outer upper arm 24-48 hrs prior to chemotherapy. Leave patch in place for at least 24 hrs after chemotherapy is completed, may be left in place for a total of 7 days
Pediatric Dosing
- Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients has not been established

- Application site reactions, generally mild, have occurred with use; if skin reaction is severe or generalized, remove patch
- Avoid direct sun/UV light exposure during and 10 days after removing patch
Cautions: Use cautiously in
- Underlying gastrointestinal pathology (may mask progressive ileus/gastric distention)
- Recent abdominal surgery
- Geriatric population (consider age-related decrease in renal, hepatic or cardiac function, concurrent diseases and drug therapy)
Supplemental Patient Information
- Instruct patients not to apply to red, irritated or damaged skin
- Instruct patients to cover patch application site with clothing to protect from direct sun/UV light exposure during and 10 days after removing patch
