• Indicated for external use only
• Do not bandage tightly or use with a heating pad
• Avoid application on open wounds or on damaged, broken or irritated skin
• Discontinue use and promptly consult a physician if severe burning sensation occurs
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes
• Avoid excessive exposure of the area treated to heat or direct sunlight
• Instruct patients to keep the product away from fire or open flame
• Discontinue use and immediately consult a physician on worsening of condition, persistence of symptoms >7 days, or if it clears up and occurs again within a few days

• Advise patients to avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes
• Instruct patients to discontinue therapy and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or persist >7 days
• Instruct patients to inform their clinician if they are pregnant or breast feeding
• Inform patients to keep the medication out of reach of children. Advise patients to seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away, in case of accidental swallowing
