Adult Dosing

Cutaneous Candidiasis

• Apply cream/susp to the affected areas bid for 1-4 wks

Seborrhagic dermatitis

• Apply shampoo 5-10 mL, leave on for three(3) mins and then rinse off; duration: twice a wk for 4 wks
• Alt: Apply gel bid for 4 wks

Tinea cruris

• Apply cream/susp/lotion to the affected areas bid for 4 wks

Tinea pedis, Tinea corporis

• Apply cream/gel/lotion/susp to the affected areas and surrounding skin bid for 4 wks

Tinea versicolor

• Apply cream/susp/lotion to the affected areas bid for 4 wks

Onchomycosis

• Apply topical solution to the nail bed, hyponychium, and under surface of the nail plate qd preferably before bedtime or 8 hrs before washing
• Each application should be made over the previous coat and then removed with alcohol every 7 days
• Max: 48 wks

• Avoid use as ophthalmic, oral or intravaginal use
• On occurrence of sensitivity or chemical irritation discontinue drug and institute appropriate therapy
• During application for nail lacquer avoid contact with surrounding skin as it may produce mild, transient irritation
• For treatment of onchomycosis, removal of the unattached, infected nail, as frequently as monthly, by a health care professional, weekly trimming by the patient, and daily application of the medication are all integral parts of the therapy
• Nail lacquer should not be removed on a daily basis
• Daily applications should be made over the previous coat and removed with alcohol every seven days

Cautions: Use cautiously in

• History of immunosuppression
• Immunocompromised patients
• Immunocompressant use
• Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus
• Diabetic neuropathy
• Concomitant use of corticosteroids
• Concomitant use of other antifungal
• Geriatric population

Supplemental Patient Information

• Advise patients to report to physician if there is no improvement after four weeks
• Inform the patients to report physician if the area of application shows signs of increased irritation
• Inform patients to avoid use of occlusive wrappings or dressings
• Advise patients to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; rinse thoroughly with water on contact with eyes
• Advise patients to refrain from using nail polish or other nail cosmetic products on the treated nails
• Inform patients to avoid using nail lacquer near open flame as product is flammable

Pregnancy Category:B

Breastfeeding: Safety unknown. About 1.3% is absorbed after topical application; it is considered a low risk to the nursing infant. Manufacturer advises caution while administering to nursing woman.
