Fold Change = IC50 patient's virus / IC50 wild type
IC50 patient's virus is defined as the drug concentration required to inhibit replication of the patient's virus by 50%.
IC50 wild type is defined as the drug concentration expected to inhibit replication of 50% of "wild type" drug sensitive virus.
Interpretation:
<1: The patient's virus is more susceptible than the wild type drug sensitive virus
1: The patient's virus exhibits the same susceptibility as the wild type drug sensitive virus
