Pharmacokinetics

Absorption: Rapidly absorbed following oral administration.

Distribution: Concentrated in the thyroid gland.

Metabolism/Excretion: Mostly metabolized by the liver; <10% eliminated unchanged by the kidneys.

Half-Life: 3–5 hr.
