Absorption: Well absorbed and subsequently rapidly hydrolyzed to mecillinam (the active antibacterial agent). Bioavailability of mecillinam = 25–35%.

Distribution: Well distributed to tissues.

Metabolism/Excretion: Mecillinam undergoes minimal metabolism. Primarily excreted in urine as mecillinam.
