Precautions

Differ greatly among agents used. Appropriate dosage adjustments should be made in older adults and those with renal or hepatic impairment, depending on agent chosen. Correctable causes of arrhythmias (electrolyte abnormalities, drug toxicity) should be evaluated. See individual drugs.
