  • These procedures enlarge or open the hymen at the vaginal orifice; drain infected cysts; remove various growths (warts, papilloma, or malignant lesions); and treat premalignant or malignant lesions of the vulva with the excision of the labia majora, labia minora, and surrounding structures, and skin grafting, respectively (Henry, 2016).
