Back - Patients should be told to avoid strenuous activity for 1 week. When radial sites are used, no more than 8 pounds should be lifted for about 3 days.
- Walking and driving may resume in 24 to 48 hours.
- There may be bruising at the procedure site that changes colors from dark blue to greenish yellow before disappearing. This is normal healing process.
- Patient should report any pain, numbness, or tingling of the affected leg or arm. Also patient should report any swelling or nodules under the skin that are not improving.
