Kimberly A. Burns, RPh, JD , is a licensed pharmacist and attorney in Pennsylvania, serving as a professor at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Pharmacy since 2002. She earned her B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University, both with honors. With over 14 years of community pharmacy practice, she has also consulted on legal cases related to pharmacy law. An active member of the American Society of Pharmacy Law, she has served as its president. In 2024, she received the Henry Cade Memorial Award from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy for her contributions to pharmacy regulation and education.
