- Recurrent herpesvirus infection
- Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection in immunosuppressed persons

C. Rheumatic Diseases
- Behcet's Syndrome
- Reactive Arthritis (Reiter's Syndrome)
- Sweet's Syndrome
- Red plaques on skin with fever
- Aphthous-like ulcers on genital or other mucosae
- Often associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), leukemia
