Simple MCP Joint Dislocations are Spontaneously Reducible and Usually Present in an Extended Posture with the Articular Surface of P1 Sitting on the Dorsum of the Metacarpal Head. Complex Dislocations Have Bayonet Apposition with Volar Plate Interposition that Prevents Reduction.
