Patricia Albano Slachta, PhD, APRN, ACNS-BC, CWOC Patricia Slachta is currently a nursing faculty member in South Carolina and a clinical nurse specialist for skin, wound and ostomy care in a 500-bed medical center. She holds a PhD in nursing and is board certified as a clinical nurse specialist in adult health and in wound, ostomy and continence nursing. Patricia draws from her many years of clinical practice in acute care and as a consultant in long-term, sub-acute, and home health.
