(1) Initial sharp rise (systolic upstroke); (2) rounded tip (systolic peak); (3) systolic decline; (4) dicrotic notch (closure of aortic valve indicated by red arrow); (5) tapering off of downstroke after dicrotic notch (diastolic run-off); and (6) end-diastolic pressure.
