= TAR SYNDROME

= rare autosomal recessive disorder

May be associated with: CHD (33%): ASD, tetralogy

• platelet count <100,000/mm³ (decreased production by bone marrow)
• usually bilateral radial aplasia / hypoplasia
• uni- / bilaterally hypoplastic / absent ulna / humerus
• defects of hands, feet, legs

Prognosis: death in 50% in early infancy ← hemorrhage
