Linda Lee Phelps, DNP, RN is a nursing educator and author best known for the Nursing Diagnosis Reference Manual, a widely used text that incorporates NANDA-I classifications for care planning. She has extensive teaching experience in classroom, clinical, skills lab, and simulation settings. Phelps has served as Assistant Professor of Nursing at Palomar College, California, and has also been affiliated with Brandman University. In addition to her reference manual, she co-authored LPN to RN Transitions: Achieving Success in Your New Role. Her work focuses on preparing nurses for evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and successful role transitions.
