R.'s area A motor area in the cerebral cortex, situated in the anterior central convolution in front of the fissure of Roland o in each hemisphere.
R.'s fissure The furrow between the frontal and parietal lobes of a cerebral hemisphere. SYN: central fissure; sulcus centralis.
R. fracture A comminuted intra-articular fracture of the base of the first metacarpal with distal fragment subluxation. This fracture is similar to a Bennett fracture, but with more comminution.
