- The front part of the head from the forehead to the chin, extending laterally to but not including the ears.

Anatomy: There are 14 bones in the face. The blood supply is bilateral from the facial, maxillary, and superficial temporal branches of the external carotid artery and the ophthalmic branch of the internal carotid artery. The veins include the external and internal jugular veins. - The immobile appearance of the face, e.g., in neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson disease.

vitreous f.Condensation of the anterior surface of the vitreous behind the lens and the posterior surface of the vitreous attached to the internal limiting membrane of the retina.
