C. column The posterior thoracic nucleus of the spinal cord. It contains secondary afferents involved with proprioception. Located between T1-L3 spinal cord segments. SYN: dorsal nucleus of the spinal cord; nucleus dorsalis; posterior thoracic nucleus.
