ABBR: CBR

Rehabilitation for people with disabilities through the combined efforts of the patient, his or her family, semiskilled members of the community, and trained health care professionals. CBR programs extend rehabilitative services to rural areas that have limited professional healthcare, educational, social service or vocational staff.
