H. layer The outer layer of cells of the inner root sheath of the hair follicle.

H. loop The U-shaped portion of a renal tubule lying between the proximal and distal convoluted portions. It consists of a thin descending limb and a thicker ascending limb.

H. sheath Endoneurium.

H. tubules The portion of the nephron following the proximal tubule.
