A disease in cattle caused by ingestion of tremetol in plants such as white snakeroot (Eupatorium urticaefolium) or rayless goldenrod (Haplopappus heterophyllus). Symptoms include weakness, anorexia, nausea and vomiting, and prostration, possibly resulting in death.SYN: tires.
