Tinea cruris (ringworm) in the inguinal region. Tinea cruris, a typical "ringworm" in the inguinal region in a male patient. A fungal infection in this location is very exceptional in women. In males the infection usually occurs first in the toewebs, and possibly also in the plantar skin.
