Tremor and Rigidity in Parkinson's Disease

The presenting symptoms of Parkinson's disease, unilateral tremor and rigidity, was typical in this 76-year old woman. When the left arm is flexed, "cogwheel" rigidity is observed. Similar power applied to the right arm results in faster passive movements.
