Necrobiosis Lipoidica

Necrobiosis lipoidica. Necrobiosis lipoidica appears as a patch that is difficult to treat and is most commonly located on the anterior surface of the lower leg. The skin becomes atrophic and blood vessels are clearly visible. In severe forms, ulceration may develop. In such cases, skin grafting must be considered. The patients often have diabetes.
