Erythema Migrans (Lyme Borreliosis) on the Leg

Erythema migrans (Lyme borreliosis) on the leg. The reddish margin moves proximally. There is sligh erythema on the distal area and no itching. In this patient, Borrelia titers were high and the response to antimicrobial therapy both clinically and serologically rapid. There was no known tick bite and the skin lesion was detected in December. This reflects the deviations of borrelial diseases from any fixed schedules.
