Prevalence of Growing Pains in Children 4 to 6 Years of Age

According to a questionnaire survey the prevalence of growing pains was 36.9% in Australian children aged 4 to 6 years. Level of evidence: "C"

A validated questionnaire was delivered to a randomized sample of parents of both urban and rural children in South Australia. A total of 1445 valid responses were achieved. The prevalence estimate obtained was 36.9% (95% CI 32.7 to 41.1).
